Daan Schouten

Daan Schouten obtained his Master’s degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, where he specialised in Medical Imaging and Interventions. For his master thesis, he worked on the implementation of deep learning models for near real-time ablation analysis during prostate cryoablation. In February 2022, he joined the Computational Pathology Group where he works on radiology/pathology fusion under supervision of Geert Litjens. The main goal of his project is to combine information from histopathology and MR images to improve prostate patient care.
