Ludo van Alst is a master's student in Physics & Astronomy at Radboud University Nijmegen. He received his bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Physics & Astronomy from the same university. Because of his growing interest in deep learning, he writes his master's thesis at the Computational Pathology Research Group from February 2020 until February 2021. For his research he works on the detection and classification of Wilms tumors under supervision of Thomas de Bel and Jeroen van der Laak. This study on Wilms tumors is in collaboration with the Princess Maxima Center in Utrecht.
