Pierpaolo Vendittelli
PhD Candidate
Pierpaolo Vendittelli is a PhD candidate working with the Computational Pathology group (CPG), under the supervision of Geert Litjens. During his PhD, he will work on the PANCAIM project, focussing on pancreatic cancer in histopathological whole-slide images. In 2017, he obtained his BSc in Computer Sciences and Telecommunication from the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio in Cassino, Italy. In 2020, he obtained his Joint MSc in Medical Imaging and Applications (MaIA) from the University of Girona (Spain), the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy) and the University of Bourgogne (France). His past affiliations also include Fontys University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) and the Computer Vision and Robotic Research Group at University of Girona (Spain).
