Tariq Haddad graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in Berkeley, California with a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry in 2016. He went on to receive his Masters in Translational Medicine from the University of Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. In September 2018, he started as a PhD student in the Department of Pathology at the Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He is working on a consortium project designed to improve treatment of patients with Colorectal Cancer (CRC) by optimizing the diagnostic process and improving our understanding of tumor budding in CRC. This project is in association with the Computational Pathology Group and is funded by the KWF. He is under the supervision of Iris Nagtegaal and Jeroen van der Laak.
