Thijs Schoppema is a master's student in Data Science at the Radboud University, Nijmegen. He received his bachelor degree in Bioinformatics at HAN university of applied sciences. From February 2023 he will be starting his Master Thesis project at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. The project is part of the Radboud AI for Health lab and focuses on developing a deep learning model for the quantification of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). During the project he will be supervised by Geert Litjens and NASH experts from the Amsterdam UMC.
