Valerie Dechering

Valerie studied to become a biological-medical research technician at the HLO of the HAN University of Applied Sciences. Valerie majored in cyto- histopathology and performed her previous internship at the pathology lab of Meander Medical Center. Valerie performed her graduation internship in the Computational pathology group, supervised by Francesco Ciompi. Her internship project involved the predictive value of immunomarkers in neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer. Currently she is employed as a histology technician for routine diagnostics, and as a research technician in the Computational Pathology group.
